Brittany L. Newell has extensive litigation experience in numerous areas with many years of focused experience in education law and employment law. She has counseled clients on an array of matters including student issues, employee matters, board concerns, personal injury, and property matters. She aides her clients both as general counsel and as a skilled defense litigator in the event a lawsuit arises. Brittany has experience with all phases of litigation including fact gathering, case analysis, administrative processes, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing motions, alternative dispute resolution, trial preparation, trial, and appellate work. She has litigated matters in both Missouri and Illinois state and federal courts.
Brittany also aides clients with education and training. She has conducted seminar presentations and in-service trainings across the state of Missouri on various employment and school related topics. Her audiences have included groups both big and small from administrators to front office staff.
In conjunction with practicing law, Brittany has volunteered her time in a number of ways. For many years she has taken an active role in an annual children’s toy drive and has participated in an associate mentoring program.
