Jasmine Yasar McCormick defends private entities in the finance, construction, franchising, manufacturing and other industries, as well as public entities, including school districts, and municipal corporations. Jasmine’s representation of commercial and governmental entities extends to a wide range of civil litigation, including commercial disputes, employment discrimination claims, and civil rights litigation. Jasmine also has extensive experience enforcing and defending restrictive covenants, including non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements, in employment and franchise relationships. Jasmine litigates before the state and federal courts, the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s arbitration forum, and the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission.

In law school, Jasmine interned in the Litigation Division of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Jasmine also acted as a mediator for the Better Business Bureau, participated in Washington University School of Law’s Mediation Team, and served as a Staff Editor for the Jurisprudence Law Review.

Outside of the office, Jasmines serves on the board of New Covenant Legal Services and the committee for Young Lives, a ministry for teen mothers in the City of St. Louis.
